Manchester United on Thursday morning confirmed the appointment of Dutchman, Erik ten Hag as their new manager.
Newsbreak.ng reports that Ten Hag will take over from Ralf Rangnick who was appointed on interim basis in November 2021.

Until his appointment by the English Premier League (EPL) giants today, Erik ten Hag was manager of Dutch clubside, Ajax Amsterdam.
An official statement by Ajax also confirmed that an agreement has been completed and signed.
Ten Hag signed until June 2025 plus option until June 2026 as new United manager.
The 52-year-old who won multiple major trophies with Ajax told United’s website: “It is a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead.
“I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.
“It will be difficult to leave Ajax after these incredible years, and I can assure our fans of my complete commitment and focus on bringing this season to a successful conclusion before I move to Manchester United.”
