The President-elect, Bola Tinubu on Monday returned to Nigeria after weeks after leaving the country for Europe.
There had been rumours that Tinubu was holed up sick and being treated outside the country. However, his team had said he was recovering from the stress of the campaign and presidential election in which he was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He returned with his wife, Senator Oluremi; and they were received by the Vice-President-Elect, Kashim Shettima; Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; amongst many other high-ranking members of the party.
Tinubu is due to be sworn in on May 29 as the president of Nigeria despite the ongoing court cases challenging his electoral victory.
