The Nigeria Police Force has said a policeman who was caught on camera demanding a bribe from a man driving without a tint permit has been identified, arrested and disarmed.
The Complaint Response Unit of the force announced this in a post on Twitter on Saturday.
According to the police, the incident occurred in Ekiti State, adding that the command’s Public Relations Officer disclosed that the officer has been detained for further investigation.

In the video, the police officer was seen telling the driver of the car stopped to give him cash in order to let him go, insisting that he did not want a cash transfer.
