President Muhammadu Buhari has decorated the service chiefs at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He charged the chief to identify their competent officers irrespective of paper qualifications. He gave them a few weeks to solve the problem of insecurity.
Buhari charged them to give 100 per cent as the rainy season is approaching, saying the country may be in trouble if farmers are not able to go to their farms with confidence.

The new Service Chiefs are Major General Lucky Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff, who has been decorated as full General; Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff, decorated with the rank of Lieutenant General; the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, decorated as Vice Admiral; while the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Ishiaka Oladayo Amao was decorated with the rank of Air Marshal.
