President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, returned to Abuja after spending 18 days in London, the United Kingdom.
Buhari was received at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 6:00pm by his Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari; National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno and Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor.
Others who received him were: Chief of Army Staff; Lieutenant-General Farouk Yahaya; Chief of Naval Staff; Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amoo; Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Mohammed Bello.
The President had attended an international summit on education in the UK, and also visited his private doctors for routine medical check-up.
On Thursday, he paid a surprise visit to the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, in London.
He is now said to have spent a total of 201 days in the UK for summits and medical check-up since he became president in 2015.
