Many Nigerians have mocked Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, for proclaiming President Muhammadu Buhari as a “loser” in the “Supreme Court of God”.
The backlash followed Fani-Kayode’s reaction on Twitter to the Supreme Court judgment on Wednesday, which dismissed the appeal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar.

The former minister of culture and ex-presidential spokesperson on Thursday tacitly criticised the judgment of the apex court, arguing that President Buhari and his All Progressives Congress (APC) were allegedly favoured by ordinary men.
He said he remains sceptical about the performance of the current administration in providing good governance to Nigerians.
“The Bible says “be still and know that I am God!” @MBuhari (President Buhari) may have “won” in the Supreme Court of man but he has lost in the Supreme Court of God. Let us wait and see how things unfold but one thing I am sure of is that the Egyptians we see today, we shall see them no more!” Fani-Kayode tweeted.

However, the tweet elicited responses from many Nigerians, who lashed out at the politician for using such instantiation.
Some persons demanded that the former minister provide a copy of the “Supreme Court of God” judgment.
Below are a series of Nigerians’ reaction to Fani-Kayode’s tweet:
