Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmed, has explained why the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, did not speak much at the party’s presidential rally in Kano on Wednesday.
Recall that Dino Melaye, a Peoples Democratic Party’s campaign spokesperson, had previously chastised Bola Tinubu for speaking for only one minute at the APC presidential rally in Kano.
Melaye claimed that the APC was preparing a disaster for Nigerians.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Ahmed defended the APC presidential candidate, explaining that Tinubu did not say much due to the overwhelming crowd.
“When Bola Tinubu collected the mic, he couldn’t say much because of the overwhelming crowds, he said “Today, I have come home, and all I want to do is dance, thank you Kano, Nagode Kano,” Ahmed said.
