Oby Ezekwesili, a former minister of education, has said President Muhammadu Buhari must be subjected to mental and physical examination to determine his ability to continue as President.
She said this on Twitter on Saturday in reaction to the kidnapping of schoolgirls in Jangebe, Zamfara State.
Ezekwesili, who championed the #BringBackOurGirls campaign when the Chibok Girls went missing, said “My DEMAND goes beyond asking @NigeriaGov of @MBuhari to #BringBackJangebeGirls. My DEMAND goes beyond asking Justice of Rescue for our schoolgirls. My DEMAND is to commence the process for an Independent Medical Evaluation of @MBuhari‘s Physical and Mental Capacity to govern.”
About 317 schoolgirls were on Friday kidnapped by bandits in Jangebe, Zamfara State, while the nation was hoping the students kidnapped from Kagara are released.
