About twenty-one people have been confirmed dead in Mumbai, India, after a five-storey building collapsed on Thursday, local reports say.
Rescue workers searched for more than a dozen people, who are still feared trapped in the 117-year-old, five-storey building.
Thirty-four people including four firemen, are injured and have been rushed to hospital. 28 people have been rescued so far.
An eyewitness said, “there was a massive bang. We couldn’t see anything due to the dust and smoke. Once the dust settled, we realised it was a building collapse.”
