Ahmad Ahmad, President of the Confederation of African Football, and members of the Emergency Committee, will be present at the Agege Township stadium on October 15, 2017 to watch the Aiteo Cup final, thenff.com has said.
CAF’s Emergency Committee, which is the most powerful panel of African football, will hold a meeting in Lagos on October 14—the eve of the Cup final, to which the CAF President and all the members of the committee have been invited by the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick. The meeting will be chaired by Ahmad and his three Vices: Kwesi Nyantakyi, Omari Constant Selemani, and Fouzi Lekjaa.
Other members of the committee expected to be present are: Amaju Pinnick, Hassan Musa Bility and CAF Referees Committee head, Souleiman Hassan Waberi. Egypt’s Hani Abo Rida, a member of the FIFA Council, will also be part of CAF President Ahmad’s entourage to Lagos.
According to thenff.com, Pinnick will personally receive Ahmad at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, in Lagos, on October 13.
