Three catechists of the Catholic Church have been arraigned before an Ogidi High Court, Anambra State after they were found to unlawfully possess firearms. The men, Daniel Nwoye, Agbo Peter and Patrick Ajuluchukwu, were linked to the attack of an 80-year-old widow, Juliana Onuorah and Lady Patricia Onuorah. Their suspected accomplice, Solomon Igboji, is said to have fled the town.
The presiding judge, Justice Akabuo, adjourned the case till 17 November for the hearing of the bail application of the suspects.
