Home-based Super Eagles forward, Chisom Chikatara, again scored for the team against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in their African Nations Championship game today. The Eagles had gone ahead in the 53rd minute courtesy of the Abia Warriors talisman. His strike was, however, cancelled out when Tunisia’s Ahmed Akaichi grabbed the equaliser in the 70th minute. The Nigerians were the lucky side as a Tunisian goal was wrongly cancelled by the assistant referee. The draw leaves the Sunday Oliseh-led team on top of the table with four points. Tunisia is second pending the outcome of the game between Niger and Guinea. A draw against Guinea should see the Eagles through to the knockout stages.
