Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has told his charges that focus will be necessary when they clash with London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday. Conte stated that his players have so far shown their determination to down the Spurs in what had been termed, ‘Battle of the Bridge II’.
”I am pushing my players to be focused, but I think they are ready,” he said at the team’s training base, Cobham.
Chelsea forced a draw with Tottenham last season after they had been 2-0 up to hand Leicester City the title on 2 May, 2016.
Conte also revealed that John Terry and John Mikel Obi will both miss the Spurs game with muscular injuries. Former England captain Terry injured his gluteus in training and will be out of action for two or three weeks.
