Rangers International of Nigeria have qualified for the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after coming from a goal down to beat Bantu FC of Lesotho 2-1 in their second-leg play-off tie in Enugu on Sunday.
The win saw Rangers progress 4-2 on aggregate following a 2-1 away win in the first-leg.
Bantu took a shock lead in the 13th minute through Lehlohonolo Fothoane.
In the 19th minute, Ibrahim Ajani grabbed the equaliser for Rangers to put the side ahead on aggregate.
A minute after Ajani’s goal, Godwin Aguda put Rangers 2-1 ahead to help them into the next stage.
Aguda’s goal against Bantu, took his tally for Rangers in the Confederation Cup to five.
