Dr. Nimkong Ndam, Plateau State Commissioner of Health, on Sunday, disclosed that 43 persons are being quarantined in Bakin Kaya village of Wase Local Government Area of the state, over suspected cases of Coronavirus.

The commissioner disclosed this on Sunday during a press briefing in Jos, while giving an update on the outbreak of the disease in the state.
However, Ndam said there is “no known symptoms in those quarantined in the state.”
The commissioner had revealed on Saturday, that four Chinese citizens have been quarantined in Wase LGA, after they travelled to the state from Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

He revealed that the 39 Nigerians are working with the Chinese citizens in a mining site in the state.
Ndam urged the people in the state not to panic, as strong measures have been put in place to avoid any outbreak in the state.
