The prosecutor, who said an investigation into the matter was still ongoing, requested that the case file be duplicated and sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecution for legal advice.

Granting the prosecutor’s oral application, the magistrate, who did not take the plea of Bala and Liman, consequently adjourned the case until Oct. 18, for hearing.

Earlier, the prosecutor told the court that the matter was reported at Ungwan Sarki Police Station by Malam Ahmed Danladi on September 5.

He stated that the defendant and two others now at large came to the deceased house one Garba Musa) after an altercation.

Leo said the defendants and their accomplices inflicted injury with a machete on Musa’s head which led to his untimely death.

He said that the offence contravened the provisions of sections 59 and 221 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law, 2017.
