An Oshogbo Magistrates’ Court on Monday remanded a 27-year-old black Axe member, Adewunmi Adeyinka, in Ilesa prison for alleged murder.
The accused is facing a four-count charge of conspiracy, belonging to unlawful society and murder.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Fagboyinbo Abiodun, had told the court that the accused committed the offence on Aug.5 at about 6:50 p.m at Old Garage Area in Osogbo.
Abiodun said that the accused, with others now at large, conspired together to kill one Bintu Anifowose by shooting him with a gun without any just cause.
The prosecutor said the offence contravened sections 324, 516, 64(a)(b) and 316 punishable under section 319(9) of the Criminal Code cap 34 vol.11 laws of Osun, 2003.
However, the plea of the accused was not taken.
The magistrate, Aishat Olayade, ordered the remand of the accused in prison due to the magnitude of his offence.
The case was adjourned till November 6, 2017.
