The alumni committee of Covenant University, Idiroko, Ota, Ogun State, on Tuesday said that the institution’s management has sacked a staff who was accused by students of being a sexual predator.

Newsbreak.ng reports that Covenant University has been trending on the social networking service, Twitter, following multiple accusations that male staff are “ruining the lives of many young girls; raping and assaulting them sexually.”

Reacting to the development, a statement by the executive council of Covenant University’s alumni association said: “While the story broke on Twitter on November 21, 2022, we heard it since last week and we immediately entered the matter, spoke with them and helped them understand the issues and what they needed to do.
