Prof. Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River State, has offered jobs to 8,000 residents, promising a salary of N30,000 monthly.

The governor said this while presenting stimulus packages to traditional rulers across the 18 local government areas of the state for distribution.

He stated that the stimulus packages are for people who are vulnerable and cannot work anymore due to age or any other factor. He said the jobs for able-bodied residents between the ages of 18 and 35 who are jobless.

Ayade revealed that a job fair will be held in the state on Tuesday. He however warned that those who think they can not accept the salary may ignore the information.
