Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder of the Omega Fire Ministry, has lashed out at those calling him out for not making donations to the government.

Mega churches and rich individuals in Nigeria have donated money and medical equipment to the federal government, to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
However, some Nigerians called out Suleiman for not announcing any contribution towards the fight against the disease in the country.

In a response, the cleric stressed that he gives directly to the needy, and not the government.
He said: “I hear people are calling me out for not giving money to govt to combat covid 19..govt is not hungry,why shld I give them?..God will reward my wife and I for the hundreds of millions we have given this period.we give to the poor directly..giving is for the needy not the greedy.”

He also in another statement, said governors should release thousands of truck loads of food items to Local Govt chairmen, and they should mandate council staff to go from house to house, giving food items.
“Nigeria has a reserved account for emergencies like this..what’s going on?,” he asked.
