Femi Fani-Kayode, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, has described the crowd at the wedding of Yusuf, President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, as earth-shaking.
Yusuf married Zahra Ado-Bayero on Friday in a lavish wedding at the palace of the Emir of Bichi, Nasir Ado-Bayero, the bride’s father, in Bichi, Kano State.
Several dignitaries, including governors and ministers, thronged Kano in droves for the event.
Former President, Goodluck Jonathan, and ex-vice President, Atiku Abubakar, also graced the occasion.
Over 25 private jets were pictured at an airport in Kano.
A known critic of Buhari’s government, Fani-Kayode, who revealed on Thursday, that he had arrived Kano in company of Isa Pantami, Minister of Communication and Digital Economy; Zamfara State governor, Bello Matawalle and Borno governor, Babagana Zulum, for the event, said the ceremony was attended by so many leaders across the country.
“It was my pleasure to attend the wedding ceremony of Yusuf Buhari and Zahra Ado Bayero in Bichi, Kano state this afternoon.
“The crowd was earth-shaking, the gathering was remarkable and the ceremony was attended by so many leaders from all over the country. It was an honor to be there. May God bless this union,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Friday.
