The remains of Musa Saleh-Kwankwaso, the father of former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, have been buried in Kano.
The burial was attended by a crowd of mourners, as against the ban on large gatherings by the Federal Government over the rising cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
Saleh-Kwankwaso, who until his death was the Makaman Karaye, died yesterday in Kano at 93.
The funeral prayer was led by a renowned Kano-based Islamic scholar, Aminu Daurawa, who prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul and for the family to have the fortitude to bear the loss.
Among those in attendance were former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, Senator Rufa’i Hanga, Kawu Sumaila, Kano State commissioner of Local Government.
