Nigerian forward, Aaron Samuel, has parted company with Russian top flight club CSKA Moscow after just one season.
CSKA who confirmed Samuel’s departure on their official website on Tuesday, stated that the Nigerian left by mutual consent.
The reigning Russian Premier League champions,went on to wish the 24-year-old all the best in his future endeavour.
“Nigerian striker Aaron Olanare left the Army club today by mutual agreement,” a statement by CSKA reads.
“We wish Aaron all the best in his future career.”
Samuel initially joined CSKA on loan from Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F in 2016 before signing a permanent deal ahead of the 2017/2018 season.
The former Shooting Stars player, scored four goals in 28 appearances in all competitions for CSKA.
At international level, Samuel made his Super Eagles debut in 2014 and has scored two goals in seven appearances.
