
The Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, has appointed Grace Adeyemo, alongside five other male officers acting deputy comptrollers-general, says Wale Adeniyi, the organisation’s spokesman. Also appointed acting comptrollers are Idris Suleiman (Finance Administration and Technical Service); Iya Umar (Tariff and Trade); Dan Ugo (Enforcement Investigation and Inspection); Grace Adeyemo (Excise, FTZ & Industrial Incentive); Austin Warikoru (Human Resource Development); and Paul Ukaigwe (Strategic Research and Policy). Promoted, also, to the rank of assistant comptrollers-general are: Comptroller Umar Sanusi mni (ACG Headquarters); Comptroller Funsho Adegoke (ACG ICT); Comptroller Mohammed Abbas mni (ACG Board); Comptroller Olatunji Aremu mni (Command & Staff College); Comptroller Charles Edike (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘A’); Comptroller Abubakar Dangaladima (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘B’); Comptroller Azarema Abdulkadir (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘C’) and Comptroller Chidi Augustine (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘D’). Seven officers have also been redeployed in the reorganization exercise. They are:
