Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has slammed Adamu Mohammed, Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), over the ban on #EndSARS protest in Abuja.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) at a meeting chaired by Mohammed, banned protest in FCT, on grounds that the protesters have repeatedly flouted the COVID-19 protocols.

Davido has been in the nation’s capital with other youths, demanding an end to police brutality, especially by officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), which has now been scrapped by the government.
Reacting via his Twitter handle, Davido, who has been at the forefront of the movement, said politicians held campaign rallies in two states recently, during which he insinuated that party supporters flouted coronavirus guidelines.

“Can’t protest but y’all just had campaign rallies and conducted 2 elections recently !!! Do they think ?? Wtf I’m ANGRY !!” he wrote.
