Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has pleaded with the club to allow him join Arsenal, Daily Mirror reports. The Gabonese striker is considered a suitable replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is on his way out of the Emirates Stadium. Sky Sports have reported that the Gunners are willing to pay the German club £53.4 million for the striker.
Meanwhile, Paul Stoger, coach of the Yellow and Blacks has said that the 28-year-old’s conduct has been alarming. He said the player has been having disciplinary issues with the club and has shocked everybody with the matter.
“Disappointment is the wrong expression.
“Rather a lack of understanding as I cannot really comprehend his conduct. And I am certainly not the only one,” Stoger told Sport Bild.
Arsenal are now resolved to losing their priced winger, Sanchez to rivals Manchester United but the deal all depends on Red Devils’ Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s willingness to join the club. The Armenian has been included in the deal to take Sanchez to Old Trafford.
In other transfer news concerning the Gunners, Theo Walcott has passed a medical at Everton and is expected to complete a move later today, Wednesday.
Also, Bordeaux have said that they have not received any bid from Arsenal for their Brazilian forward, Malcom. The club however said Liverpool have contacted them on the availability of the player.
