Germany international Julian Draxler has said that he would like Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil to ditch the Premier League for Paris Saint Germain. The former Wolfsburg man who has adapted to life in the French capital so easily has called for his Germany teammate to join him.
“There is one but I’m afraid it’ll put me in difficulty if I say it. I’d like to see Mesut Ozil here,” Draxler told BeIn Sports.
“He can play in any team in the world. So if he wants to come, he will be welcome from my side anyway.”
Ozil is yet to sign a new contract with the Gunners saying his decision would be influenced by manager Arsene Wenger’s contract. The 28-year-old midfield maestro’s situation is being closely monitored by top European clubs with PSG reportedly willing to make a swoop for him in the summer.
