Nigerian forward Moses Simon says the Super Eagles will work hard to defeat their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier opponents, Libya to keep their hope of being at the competition alive.
The Super Eagles will host Libya on Saturday inside the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo before heading to Tunisia for the reverse fixture on October 16.
Since winning the 2013 AFCON in South Africa, the Super Eagles have failed to qualify for the 2015 and 2017 editions in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon respectively.
Simon who is in the Super Eagles squad for the two-legged ties, said they will do everything possible to come out tops.
“We want to be part of next year’s Nations Cup so we will endeavour to take our chances in both games against Libya,” the Levante star was quoted on Super Eagles verified Twitter handle.
Simon missed the Super Eagles squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia due to injury.
