All is set for the maiden edition of the Edo Entertainment Seminar billed to hold August 18, 2017 at Prestige Hotel, Benin city.
Organiser of the seminar, Eromosele Daniel Pikolo, said the event is aimed at showcasing Edo state entertainers to the world.
The 2-day event also focuses on the role of entertainment business in economic exchanges.
According to Pikolo, some top shots in the entertainment industry will be speaking at the event.
Tony Okoroji, chairman of the copyright society of Nigeria, COSON, among others will be speaking at the event.
Other speakers to grace the seminar are Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, Edi Lawani, Commissioner for Arts, Osaze Osenmwengie Ero, Eddy Erhagbe from the Dept. Of history and international studies, UNIBEN.
Other speakers are, Prof Julius Ihonvbere and Solomon Edebiri.
“The seminar is part of effort to train entertainers in the state. Entertainers in the state need to understand the business of the sector and how it operates,” Pikolo said.
