American rapper Kanye West’s account has been suspended after he once again broke the Twitter policy against inciting violence, according to CEO Elon Musk on Thursday.
The Tesla CEO explained that Kanye West who is now known as Ye got his Twitter account suspended for posting anti-semantic tweets and other violations of the platform’s policies.
He further clarified that Ye’s account wasn’t suspended because the musician posted an “unflattering” image of him.
Ye tweeted a picture of a Nazi Swastika combined with the Star of David on Thursday during a tweeting frenzy, violating Twitter’s policy against the incitement of violence.
His account was momentarily disabled shortly after that, and he commented on Truth Social about it.
Later, Musk explained that while he “did his best” to encourage West to abide by Twitter policies, the rapper persisted in posting material that was in violation of the platform’s prohibition on inciting violence, leading to a suspension.
Just clarifying that his account is being suspended for incitement to violence, not an unflattering pic of me being hosed by Ari.
Frankly, I found those pics to be helpful motivation to lose weight!

I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.
