Twitter’s new buyer Elon Musk on Thursday bantered about buying Coca-Cola Company and putting cocaine back in.
Newsbreak reports that Coca-Cola is one of the world’s most valuable soft drink brand, and has been in existence for over 100 years.
Coca Cola does not contain cocaine or any other harmful substance, and cocaine has never been an added ingredient in Coca Cola. When it was invented, cocaine was legal and a common ingredient in medicines.
Emboldened by his successful $44 billion bid to buy Twitter Inc., Elon Musk took to the platform to joke about a new potential takeover target.
“Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in,” Musk tweeted on his verified handle. He was referring to the drink’s original recipe when it was launched in 1886 as a tonic for various ailments.
Musk is a South-Africa-born billionaire entrepreneur who serves as CEO of Tesla, the popular electric vehicle manufacturer, and SpaceX. Musk made an early fortune founding PayPal in 1999.
