Shehu Sani, senator who represented Kaduna Central, has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari’s Thursday night nationwide address.
Nigerians had condemned Buhari’s silence, following the killings of #EndSARS protesters by soldiers at Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos State on Tuesday night.
However, the President, in his 12 minutes address, failed to mention the tragedy.
He rather asked the protesters to leave the streets, saying their “voices have been heard loud and clear”, in an address that has been widely described as uninspiring.
In a tweet after the speech, Sani, a staunch critic of the administration, said Nigerians asked for a speech, they got one and are now speechless.
He wrote: ”You ask for speech, you got the speech and now you are speechless.”
