The police were seen manhandling peaceful protesters, while some of them were arrested.
But according to the ex-BBNaija housemate, the youths are not the problem of the country, noting that the youths are not the problem of the police.
“We are also fighting for your benefits, one of the demands during the Endsars protest was for a better payment for the police force,” Tacha said.
“The cost of living in the country has skyrocketed in the past years and this factor is affecting the masses. The youths call for accountability as those in power have not fulfilled any of their campaign manifestos.
“If a police officer goes to the market to buy anything, they will still buy at the high price we are buying.”
Tacha said the intimidation of the youth by the police is senseless, insisting that the main agenda is to fight for a better Nigeria that will benefit everyone, including the police officers and their families.
She also pinpointed that ‘politicians are using the police force to their advantage’.
The reality star added: “We are not fighting the government, we are not fighting the police. The demands are clear. There are no job opportunities, no electricity, no good roads, people are dying from starvation.”
