After Manchester United terminated Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract on Tuesday, renowned journalist and ardent supporter of Arsenal FC, Piers Morgan, has written to Arsenal.
He advised Arsenal to land Ronaldo at the club.
The football legend has been heavily criticized by many Manchester United fans Following his interview with Morgan last week, many football fans were not surprised when his contract was terminated.
The 37-year-old superstar made significant allegations about the way the team is being run while criticizing Erik ten Hag and United’s hierarchy.
His contract was terminated with immediate effect, Manchester United declared on Tuesday.
After failing to secure a transfer away from Manchester United in the summer, Ronaldo is now free to join a new club after the World Cup according to the ruling.
Sporting CP, Chelsea, and Major League Soccer are all in the running to sign the legendary football player.
However, Morgan, an ardent follower of both Ronaldo and Arsenal, wants the Gunners to sign the Portugal captain for nothing.
