Veteran Nollywood actress-turn-evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, who recently shared her thoughts on sex before marriage has sent another important message to couples.
She took to her Instagram page where she posted a video of herself advising couples to stop normalizing the abnormal. In her caption, she said;
“Let me ask you one question: As a married person, if something tragic happens to you now or you get critically ill, who will be the first person to be called? Your husband or wife right? Yet you hide your money or properties from your husband or wife? Hmmm.
“Your child has entered puberty, yet you still bathe him or her or bathe together with him or her or you barge into the bathroom while they are bathing, or their bedroom without knocking, claiming that you are their parent, are you alright? Surely you are not alright!
“You are married, yet you sleep in separate bedrooms, claiming you need your space and peace: why did you get married in the first place??
…………………………..
STOP NORMALIZING THE ABNORMAL.
Genesis 2:24….”
In a recent Instagram post which went viral, the actress gave her take on premarital sex in a video while emphasising on being engaged first before having sex.
She criticised the idea of waiting to be married before having sex, calling it “a wicked thing.”
Shortly after, she makes a U-turn and denies supporting young people and unmarried people on having premarital sex. She wrote:
“Dating/courting period is a time for interview to know each other better, with respect to getting basic information such as vision, values, beliefs and family. So that if you find them unworthy and unqualified, you can cut them off easily. It is not a time for sexual intercourse. 2 Timothy 2:22.”
