One Emeka Okeke has been arrested for threatening a woman with a toy gun and raping her.

The 28-year-old, an ex-convict, was said to have ambushed the woman, 36, on her way home. He allegedly flashed the toy gun tucked in his waist band and ordered her to an unoccupied building in Okochi in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

He later raped her in a school, Community Primary School, several times, the report said.
The suspect, nicknamed Aso Rock, was arrested after the victim lodged a complaint to the police.

Haruna Mohammed, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, said the suspect was arrested by police detectives in conjunction with a vigilance group attached to Opuno community.
