Akinwunmi Ambode, governor of Lagos state, Wednesday appointed Ifueko Omoigui-Okauru chairman of the board of trustees of the Employment Trust Fund his administration created. Omoigui-Okauru had sometime been chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service. The government said N25bn is earmarked for the scheme aimed at addressing youth unemployment and wealth creation through entrepreneurial development.
Other members of the Board are Dele Martins, Bilikis Adebiyi-Abiola, Otto Orondaam, Olufunmi Olatunde Daudu, Tunde Bank-Anthony and Micheal Popoola Ajayi. Cabinet members nominated into the Fund’s board are Tunde Durosinmi-Etti and Mustapha Akinkunmi, commissioner for Wealth Creation and commissioner of Finance, respectively. Akintunde Oyebode is the board secretary.
