Abba Moro, ex-Nigeria’s minister of interior, is to be kept in prison as he applies for bail in the fraud case he faces. Moro and others are being tried for defauding job seekers of N675, 675,000 while he was minister. The accused were said to have collected N1,000 registration fee through an e-payment portal during a botched recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Immigration Service, NCS. However, the federal high court, where Moro is being tried, granted his co-accused Anastasia Nwobia bail following her counsel’s plea that she is a nursing mother.
