Nigeria’s former Finance Minister Nenadi Usman has told all she knew about the looted N4bn diverted to re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, a report said. Quoting a source in the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the report said the Usman refunded ‘substantial amount’.
The former minister has been detained in EFCC custody since Monday for collecting and disbursing N2.5bn of the N4bn said to have been withdrawn illegally from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN. She was the Director of Finance of the President Goodlluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation. Other suspects mentioned in the sharing of the slush funds have not been arrested, while one of them Femi Fani-Kayode has dared the EFCC to do its worse.
