Christian Obodo, former Super Eagles midfielder, has survived a ghastly auto crash along Ozoro road in Delta State, over the weekend, Brila FM has said.
Obodo is regarded by many as one of the most skillful and talented midfielders to have played for Nigeria since the 1994 era.

He was reportedly kidnapped by gunmen near Warri In 2012, but was rescued less than 24 hours later in Isoko area of the state by the police.
He made six out of 10 appearances in the 2006 World Cup qualification series, scoring a goal.

Obodo played four matches for Nigeria at the 2006 African Cup of Nations, where he scored in the 2–0 win over Zimbabwe.
The former Udinese of Italy player last played for the Eagles in 2008.
