Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has come under attack on Twitter over his gushing birthday message to his ex-wife, Regina.
The former minister, early on Tuesday, had taken to Twitter to praise his third wife, with whom he has a daughter, Remi.

Specifically, he had declared that his love for Regina, whom he left to father four children with Precious Chikwendu, is unconditional. He also described her as meaning everything to him despite having a son with a yet undisclosed woman after his split with Precious a few months ago.
Until the middle of last year, he was unrestrained in his description of the now estranged Precious and was similarly effusive on the last birthday of his first wife, Saratu Attah, who fled the union on account of alleged domestic violence, the reason Precious also left.
“U gave up everything for me and fought every battle with and alongside me. Shoulder to shoulder, we faced the rigours of life and by the power of God, we w`ere always triumphant. So it has been and so it shall always be. We shall always win because our Lord is with us and he is faithful,” he said of Regina.

However, many of his Twitter followers felt the praise was dishonest. One Momoh Nurudeen tweeted “Yet you cheated on her”, an allusion to Fani-Kayode’s loud romance with Precious. Another commenter, Emmak da Masses Mouthpiece, wrote : “Women dey try!” Yet another, Kofoshi Nation, wondered why the woman is no longer with Fani-Kayode.
“Wit all dis romantic praises, y dis fine woman no dey your house till date. Ya case needs to be studied,” he wrote. And in response Anthony Chike Abadom, who exclaimed “What a man!”, Kofoshi Nation wrote: “As in, you tire for ein mata”.
Similar responses followed with one likening Fani-Kayode to Biblical King Solomon, who had hundreds of wives. “Na wa o. Only this man be King Solomon and father of many nations. I hail sir. May the bullets never run dry.”
A user, Tatiana Ali, posted: “You obviously don’t love her. Happy birthday to you jare, madam,” while HH Oracle tweeted: “Where is the yellow pawpaw that gave you twins who came from Igboland.” @Sonzilly accused the former minister of an attempt to romantically defraud the woman, tweeting: “This man wants to scam the woman again.”
