Some fans supporting Arsenal and Fulham football clubs have exchanged words on Twitter following a video post by the latter mocking the former over its participation in the breakaway European Super League (ESL).
Fulham on Monday tweeted a video showing when they scored against Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday in a match day 32 Premier League fixture, captioning it as “a sweet penalty against European Super League opposition”.
Fulham’s goal scored by Super Eagles striker, Josh Maja, was eventually cancelled out by an Eddie Nketiah goal for Arsenal in stoppage time to level the game at 1-1.

The tweet comes after after Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, known as England’s “big six” clubs, agreed to join other big European clubs to form the new ESL.
However, Fulham’s tweet generated reactions from fans supporting the club and Arsenal fans on Twitter, with both set of groups tackling each other in a light-hearted manner.
