A father of four children has murdered his wife in cold blood in Mbiabam Ibiono Community, Akwa Ibom State. The man, Nkere-Uta, was said to have macheted the mother of his children, leaving a deep gash across her forehead and the side of her face.
The woman, identified as Bella, was said to be in her 30’s.
Odiko McDon, the spokesman for the Akwa Ibom Police Command, confirmed the incident.
He said the killer husband, who is a vulcanizer, was being detained at Itam Division of the Nigeria Police Force.
McDon said “investigation is in progress.”
