Ayodele Fayose, Ekiti state governor, has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew beginning this Tuesday evening on the state. Fayose said the curfew is to forestall crisis that may arise over the declaration of the result of last Saturday’s presidential election.
In another breath, the governor urged Nigerians to accept the outcome of the Saturday’s presidential election in good faith, describing it as the will of cGod.
Fayose said the curfew effective with immediate effect is between 7.30pm to 6am.
He said those who would like to celebrate the victory should do so within the confines of their rooms.
