Female Corps Member Commits Suicide In Enugu

Bolufemi Motunrayo, a female National Youth Corps member from Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, has committed suicide.

Motunrayo, who was a graduate of Banking and Finance from Prince Abubakar Audu University, formerly called Kogi State University, and a Batch C member serving at Girls Secondary School, Ibagwa-Aka Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State, took her life on January 10 after consuming two bottles of snippers.

According to a suicide note she left behind, Motunrayo said she took her own life “because I see nothing worth living for in this world”.

In the note, she noted that she loved her parents, and mentioned two other persons, asking them to take care of themselves.
