The Federal Government has revealed the identities of 13 Nigerians who died of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) abroad.
This was revealed in a 55-second video published on the Twitter page of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) on Thursday.
According to the commission, the Nigerians were among those who lost their lives to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom and the United States.
A breakdown of the figure shows that eight persons died in the UK while five others died in the US.
They comprise eight males and five females, including a medical doctor, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and a clergyman.
The Nigerians listed include Alfa Sa’adu (United Kingdom), Carol Jamabo (United Kingdom), Kole Abayomi, SAN (United Kingdom), Bode Ajanlekoko (United Kingdom), Adeola Onasanya (United Kingdom), Ugochukwu Erondu (United Kingdom) and Chidinma Olajide (United Kingdom).
Others are Bassey Offiong (USA), Caleb Anya (USA), Mmaete Greg (USA), Akeem Adagun (USA), Laila Abubakar Ali (USA) and Patricia Imobhio (USA).
