The Federal Government has will commemorate Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary by bestowing integrity awards on some deserving Nigerians.
This is one of the highlights of activities for the anniversary in a document prepared by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, according to the Punch.
According to the schedule, the award ceremony is scheduled for Monday, 28 September.
The event is said to be packaged as part of the launching of the National Ethics and Integrity Policy.
The integrity award to be conferred by President Muhammadu Buhari is said to be in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
The venue and names of the beneficiaries were however not indicated in the schedule.
