A bus in the fleet of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service in Lagos State is currently burning on the Third Mainland Bridge.
The popular blue-stripped bus caught fire just after Adeniji Adele axis of the bridge.
It was learnt that the bus was heading towards Iyana-Oworo axis of the state.
No casualty reported as at the time of filing this report.
The incident has led to traffic gridlock on the bridge, considered to be the longest linking Lagos Mainland to Lagos Island.
Operatives of the Lagos State Fire service and Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) are at the scene to put out the fire and also manage the traffic.
