Fire has destroyed food stuff and other valuables worth millions of Naira at the popular Namu Central Yam market in Qua’anpan Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Traders who lost goods to the fire have called on the government and well-meaning Nigerians to come to their aid.
Professor Nora Dadu’ut, senator representing Plateau South Senatorial zone, has commiserated with the affected traders and the entire Namu community over the incident.
She prayed for the quick revival of the victims so that they can “continue their struggle”.
Dadu’ut also called on the government and other charitable Nigerians to offer support to the victims.
