Five more students abducted from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna State, have been released, a report has revealed.
The students who just regained freedom are currently on their way to the hospital, according to the Daily Trust.
According to the newspaper, a security source informed it that four male and a female student were picked up by policemen around Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
This comes three days after another five out of the 39 students were released by the bandits.
The students were certified medically fit and reunited with their families on Wednesday.
Some unidentified gunmen had on the night of March 11, 2021, stormed the school dormitories and carried out mass adoptions of which 180 students escaped during the raid and about 39 of the students were officially abducted.
The latest release brings to 10, the total number of students that have been released, while those still in captivity are 29.
